Kerlite is the universal surface for architecture: thin, durable with the exclusive fiberglass reinforcement, versatile and easy to use.
With the extension of its large formats it gives an extraordinary result in terms of beauty and charm in spaces and architectural designs.
Available in thicknesses 3.5 mm, 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm, Kerlite is light, planar, flexible, easy to use, install and clean: a product of excellence, with extraordinary aesthetic aspects of the surface, which is born from an innovative production process, from raw materials of high quality, and from the ultra-annual experience of Cotto d’Este on thin materials.
Kerlite ultra-thin slabs are born sustainable right from the start: from the ingredients used to produce them - only water, earth and fire - to the lower water and energy requirements, to the less pollution produced in transport. All this has made them among the most sustainable materials available to designers!
But we did not settle for that. We have made them CARBON NEUTRAL.
After having reduced the emissions generated by production as much as possible, we decided to calculate all the residual emissions from the entire life cycle of the sheets and offset them through carbon credits related to projects with a real impact on the environment. To help make the world better, more liveable and more sustainable. So we created the ultra-thin 100% CO2 offset slabs: our most sustainable ceramic surface.
Because we cannot wait any longer to design a different future
