As soon as you step inside House Adendorff, you are greeted by a symphony of light and material. Each space radiates warm, refined elegance: light gently filters through the large windows, caressing surfaces that reflect balance, comfort and design. Designed by Indigo Architect with interior design by Salomé Knijnenburg Interiors, the residence just a few kilometres from Cape Town expresses a contemporary vision of understated luxury, where art meets architecture and every detail is crafted to create a harmonious dialogue.

The interiors, defined by precious materials and refined textures, convey a sophisticated essentiality that extends outdoors: a splendid patio overlooking greenery enhances the brightness and the sense of continuity with nature.

PRODUCT USED

The star of the indoor and outdoor surfaces is the Lithos collection by Cotto d’Este. Chosen in the distinctive signature 14MM thickness and in the Carbon shade, the series covers both the bathrooms – the most delicate areas of the home – and the welcoming outdoor patio, creating perfect aesthetic and material continuity with the interiors.

The surfaces of Lithos celebrate the mineral depth and sculptural strength of stone, reinterpreted through the aesthetic and technological precision that has always defined the brand. The 14MM thickness, a symbol of solidity and absolute quality, guarantees superior resistance, dimensional stability and long-term durability, while preserving the refined aesthetic that characterises every project signed by Cotto d’Este.

Finally, the three selected finishes – Naturale, Sabbiata and Lappata – elegantly modulate the light, creating a sophisticated play of reflections and depth that establishes a harmonious dialogue between material, architecture and landscape. House Adendorff thus becomes a testament to Cotto d’Este’s commitment to aesthetic and technological excellence, where ceramics are transformed into architectural language and pure visual emotion.
