The Maladiere Centre is a new shopping centre in Neuchatel, Switzerland and is part of a single structure 198 m in length and 115 m wide consisting of 6 floors (3 of which underground) that host a football stadium, shops and recreational facilities.
Cotto D’Este material was chosen because its technical and aesthetic qualities enable it to satisfy the particular needs of a shopping centre of this type. The aesthetics of Cotto D’Este marry perfectly with the modern architectural vision of the building and its elegant shops.

The particular ease of working with BUXY tiles also made it possible to create some very ambitious curved cuts, installing them with minimal grout lines and therefore satisfying the aesthetic requirements of this major project. At the same time, the elevated resistance of the triple-pressed 14 mm-thick material makes it possible to move large loads along the corridors of the shopping mall. Thanks to its high level of stain resistance (class 5, the best according to the ISO 10545-14 standard) and chemical resistance (ISO 10545-13), Cotto D’Este facilitates the daily maintenance of large, highly-trafficked floors like those of the shopping centre.
