In the heart of Quinta do Lago, in the Algarve, Portugal, among lakeside landscapes and golf courses, Monte Golf 3A takes shape as a continuously evolving project, capable of transforming complexity and change into a refined expression of coherent and conscious architecture. Here, the intervention by Architecture Jutta Hoehn redefines the concept of luxury living through an essential yet sophisticated language. Pure volumes, sharp geometries, and striking openings shape an architecture developed through subtraction, leaving space for light, materiality, and a meaningful relationship with the surrounding landscape.

The experiential dimension of the villa unfolds through spaces designed for comfort and conviviality, from the double-height living area to the panoramic terraces, extending to outdoor areas featuring a pool, lounge, and wellness-dedicated spaces. Interiors open seamlessly towards the outside in a fluid, uninterrupted sequence, where expansive glazing enhances spatial perception and dissolves the boundaries between built environments and nature. An architecture that interprets contemporary luxury as a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and sensory quality.

It is through materiality that the project finds its fullest expression. Cotto d’Este surfaces play a defining role in shaping the project’s identity, contributing to a coherent, sophisticated, and high-performance architectural language.

PRODUCT USED

In this context, Secret Stone, in the prestigious 14MM thick porcelain stoneware and distinguished by the luminous Precious Beige shade, accompanies the entire development of the villa as a unifying element, capable of creating visual continuity and material coherence between indoor and outdoor spaces. Used for vertical cladding, indoor and outdoor flooring, wellness areas, and the surfaces of the two pools, the collection enhances spatial perception and reinforces its identity.

Outdoors, the collection defines the architectural envelope with an elegant and measured presence: façades are characterized by a refined materiality that interacts with light and the surrounding landscape, while outdoor flooring and terraces – including the rooftop – ensure perceptual continuity and high performance. The variation of the Honed and Natural finishes introduces a subtle interplay of contrasts between softer surfaces and more structured textures, designed to support different functions and conditions of use.

Indoors, the honed finish enhances the brightness of the spaces and provides a pleasantly enveloping tactile sensation, contributing to the creation of elegant, timeless atmospheres. The surface thus becomes a continuous architectural element, capable of enhancing the purity of volumes and the quality of space.

In bathroom and wellness areas, as well as in pool claddings, Secret Stone fully meets safety and comfort requirements while maintaining absolute aesthetic coherence. The material accompanies every space with design precision, adapting to different needs without ever interrupting visual continuity.

The result is a composition in which surface and space converge: a continuous skin that connects indoors and outdoors, light and matter, function and emotion.

Monte Golf 3A thus represents an evolved synthesis between architecture and material, where the technological innovation and aesthetic depth of Cotto d’Este surfaces contribute to defining a new standard of timeless luxury.
