A panoramic terrace that makes it possible to immerse yourself in the colours and scents of the sea, a breathtaking location that lets the gaze lose itself in the horizon: this is the business card of Caracol, the renowned gourmet seafood restaurant, located in Bacoli, in the Phlegraean Fields.
Its original and refined culinary proposal is linked to the inspiration of Angelo Carannante, a volcanic chef who was awarded a Michelin star in 2019. Perched on the hillside, the place is intimate and full of charm and perfectly integrated into the context of the surrounding landscape and nature, thanks to the impeccable design of the architect Francesca Maione. The interweaving of the enchanting panorama and the unique flavours of the Michelin-starred chef’s kitchen gives the restaurant’s guests an unforgettable sensory experience.
For the prestigious restaurant, surfaces were chosen that are just as high-quality as they are exceptionally functional. Chosen for both the interiors and the terrace are surfaces from the X-Beton collection by Cotto d’Este, with their opaque and tactile material surface and a thickness of 14 mm, they are able to transmit a marked sensation of depth and feature delicate chromatic effects. The light patina effect makes this covering soft and welcoming, thus particularly suitable for the mood of the restaurant.
The chosen shade is the soft grey Dot 50 that best expresses the inspiration of the collection, rolled concrete, in perfect harmony with the most current trends of architecture and design, manifesting a cleanliness of the space, able, at the same time, to convey special emotions and indelible memories.
